The Vikings - Raiders and Traders
An activity session where children can examine the skills and technologies that led the Vikings to take to the seas and travel so successfully. Examine ship building techniques and the effects the trade routes had on what the Vikings wore, ate and the materials they valued. Children will have the opportunity to handle replica Viking objects and dress in authentic replica costumes.
