A Day Out On London's Number 88 Bus Route
A day on the buses makes a great, low maintenance, cheap day out. We suggest the number 88.
Cakes at Clapham Old Town
The 88 leaves from Clapham Old Town, and to get those energy levels up after a run about on Clapham Common why not have a naughty breakfast at Macaron. This 1930's-style tearoom has won tons of awards. We know it's a bit unhealthy but who can say no to some of London's finest cream cakes, pastries and tarts?
All Aboard to Vauxhall City Farm
You will be getting the 88 from the beginning of its journey so head upstairs and try to grab a seat at the front. First stop will be a bit of country life at the Vauxhall City Farm. Donkey rides, pony-care classes and milking demonstrations are all available on request and anyone can drop in and pet the animals for free during opening hours.
Westminster to Trafalgar Square

Back on board and it's over the river, past the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and Westminster Abbey and onto Trafalgar Square. There is a huge amount to do in this area, but we recommend brass rubbing at St Martin's-in-the-Fields.
Lunchtime at The Strand
There are so many lunch options in this area. With an eye on budget and comfort we like Leon and Pizza Express in the Strand or the excellent and easy Café in the Crypt at St Martin's-in-the-Fields.
Hamley's and the Disney Store

The 88 will now make its way to it's final destination, Camden Town. Stop off at Hamley's and the Disney Store to see more toys than you ever imagined possible, all under 1 roof.
An Evening Of Entertainment in Camden
On arrival at Camden you could, performances permitting visit the Roundhouse or catch a film at the Odeon in Parkway.
